Who we are
Born and raised in Germany, Bremen or Hamburg, our childhood in the north was like the weather “overgrown”. Due to circumstances such as education, environment, school, expectations, etc., our priorities in life were quickly clear: “Being successful through hard performance”.
Workaholic quickly defined our lives…
always on, more and more …
Perfectionists combined with a great deal of creativity = A pot full of good ideas that have been worked out and realized down to the last detail. 7 days a week. Disable? Why then? It’s fun. At least we thought.
This way of working has taken us to the top of our career ladder. We were motivated, inspired and applauded. Our way of life has been adapted to the way of working: higher, faster, further..
We thought we finally made it! We thought we were “satisfied”.
And then suddenly it was quiet:
The fast-paced lifestyle, the urge for perfectionism and success through hard work took its toll. It was too much. And there was something to come: We both reached a point in the life of “filled” was filled with emptiness and energylessness.
The result was a wide variety of diseases, intolerances and problems in all areas of life. We were exhausted, unresilient and, above all, discouraged.
What was going on here?
Clearly, we had to change our lifestyle. Our bodies showed us both clearly: STOP. Up here and no further. Our limits were clearly reached. We knew we couldn’t get over more stop signs. No matter how much the urge for more was there – we needed a break. A break.
It was as if someone was finally awakening us and freeing us from our hamster wheel! We accepted this challenge and started from scratch: we learned to look after our bodies again, learned to relax and dealt intensively with completely different topics.
Our habits determine our quality of life! And we wanted a liveable quality of life. Thus we embarked on a path of deceleration. This journey was a gift. The result was physical and mental recovery. It was a journey with a lot of arguments with ourselves that was worth it.
In the beginning we really wanted to “just” get healthy again and have energy again, so that we could start again with full steam – after all, it was what we always did and were able to do well. But apparently life with us had something else in mind: deep insights and consciousness.
It has shown us that you don’t have to put “come on the devil out” everything at risk in order to be happy and successful.
Our eyes were opened and we were no longer ready to go back to our old structures. It was as if it no longer suited us. We no longer wanted to exchange time for money at any price and put our health at risk. Our newfound energy felt so good. We felt free, light and our well-being was more important to us than ever before. We wanted to keep control of our lives and live our lives.
What have we learned? Prioritize, slow down and enjoy life. The saying “less is more” fits very well.
We have been working for a long time in an area that fills us and at the same time allows us to be successful, and in many areas. Today we are holistic SelfCare coachesthat help people to lead life in balance and people who want to develop or reorient themselves professionally. We show solutionsthat can be combined with career and well-being.
We are convinced that a life in balance is the answer to many challenges. A life in balance means seeking balance in all areas of life: growth or fulfillment in the family, in our relationships with other people and also on the mental and health level, as well as a balance in finances. Everything is connected.
The stronger our foundation, the stronger our holistic well-being can be.
Ask yourself the question: What do you reallywant?
We have learned through our path who we really are and what we really want and need.
If you are also looking for change, we will gladly accompany you on your way.
