Before we go into the use of water filters, let me say at the beginning 
that the German Drinking Water Ordinance regulates the permissible limit values for ingredients in drinking water, and these are also regularly checked. Nevertheless, there are no limit values for various impurities and the water can absorb further contaminants on the way from the waterworks to their home and can therefore be contaminated.
Substances such as microplastics, medicines, pesticides, chlorine, etc. are not good for our health and are still present in drinking water. These substances are further reduced or removed by a water filter.

should pay attention to a very good drinking water quality. Many water sources – tap water and/or bottled water – supply water whose pH is in the acidic range. Your drinking water should provide you with the right balance.
If our body is acidified, i.e. the ph-value in imbalance, it means that our body has to “borrow” the required minerals from its reserves. These are mainly minerals such as magnesium, calcium, sodium and potassium, which are stored in vital organs and bones. The admonished “borrowing” can lead to deficiency symptoms in many, different physical areas.
